Port Augusta Golf Club welcomes any boy or girl that is interested in playing golf.
As an introduction to golf, for your child, April is our come & try month with no obligation to join. We have Junior Sticks available for your child to use.
We have a structured program from April through until September every Sunday morning with competitions and coaching clinics.
- Beginners (Normally 5 to 10 year old) play a 6 hole competition with modified rules starting at approx 9:30 am
- Intermediate (Normally 10 to 13 years old) playing 9 holes and starting play at approx 9:00 am
- Juniors (More advanced 13 years +) Playing 18 holes and hitting off any time up until 12 noon
The Highlight of our Calendar is the Pt Augusta Junior Open to be held on August 16th this year
This event attracts some 70 to 80 Juniors in a tournament for all levels of golfer
Port Augusta Golf Club receives outstanding support from local business's and its Club members which allows us to offer excellent encouragement awards and winners awards after each Sunday's competition
